  • Do you work with only aluminum?
    No. While our most developed and wide ranging product line utilizes only aluminum, we also have extensive experience with other specialty materials such as glass, stainless steel, cedar wood, and composite wood, which can be integrated into our railing, fencing, and gate products. While we do not only work with Aluminum, we are still limited on what we can offer. We do not offer the following commonly asked for products: - All wood fencing - Chainlink fencing - Iron railing or fencing - Wire railing - Vinyl railing or fencing Feel free to ask us for any recommendations and we would be more than happy to provide you with our list of trades!
  • Do you provide your services in my town?
    Omega Aluminum primarily services all across the GTA. In order to find out if we can service your town that is outside of the GTA, please contact our office to speak with one of our sales reps.
  • Does your railing have engineering?
    Our railing is engineered and tested for all Canadian and Ontario building codes. Furthermore, our railing is engineered to cover up to eleven floors (mid-rise) and can be used in both commercial and residential applications where code compliance is required.   • Do you have a showroom?
    Yes! Our showroom is open Monday to Thursdays from 9am - 5pm, and Fridays from 9am-3pm. Evenings and Sundays are also available by appointment.
  • What colours do you have?
    In order to expedite production time, we always carry stock of black, gun metal, white, and beige aluminum however all of our products can be painted using RAL powder coating.
  • What is your turnaround time to supply orders?
    The size and complexity of some jobs may vary the turnaround time however, our typical waiting periods are as follows: Picket railing 3-4 weeks in the summer and in the fall. 1-2 weeks in the spring and in the winter. Glass railing 4-5 weeks in the summer and in the fall. 2-3 weeks in the spring and in the winter. Fencing 3-4 weeks in the summer and in the fall. 1-2 weeks in the spring and in the winter. Gates 4-5 weeks in the summer and in the fall. 2-3 weeks in the spring and in the winter. *Specialty colours may add 1-2 weeks to the turnaround time to any order
  • What is your turnaround time to install railing?
    The size and complexity of some jobs may vary the turnaround time however, our typical waiting periods are as follows: Picket railing 4-5 weeks in the summer and in the fall. 2-3 weeks in the spring and in the winter. Glass railing 5-6 weeks in the summer and in the fall. 3-4 weeks in the spring and in the winter. *Specialty colours add 1-2 weeks to the turnaround time. *All installations are weather dependant. Winter months have higher chances of delay.
  • What is your turnaround time to install fencing and gates?
    The size and complexity of some jobs may vary the turnaround time however, our typical waiting periods are as follows: Fencing 4-5 weeks in the summer and in the fall. 2-3 weeks in the spring and in the winter. Gates 5-6 weeks in the summer and in the fall. 3-4 weeks in the spring and in the winter. *If digging services are required, an additional 2-3 weeks is added to the turnaround time in order to conduct an Ontario One Call locate service and to complete the dig. Note that digging is unavailable in the winter. *Specialty colours add 1-2 weeks to the turnaround time for any fencing order without gates. *All installations are weather dependant. Winter months have higher chances of delay.
  • Can I install your products myself?
    Our products have been meticulously designed in order to improve the installation experience. While our expert installers can complete a job quickly and with precision, anyone with the tools, dedication, and time can simply learn to install any of our products. We also offer detailed consultations, layout designs, delivery, production measurements, and instructions!
  • Why is there a difference in pricing for your gates when compared to other options?
    To prevent sagging and the need for unsightly braces, we employ a comprehensive approach of welding each of our large or heavy gates. This method is unusual for aluminum due to its higher thermal conductivity and low melting point, which results in a narrower window of workability when compared to other metals. The challenges associated with welding aluminum, including difficulties in indicating weld progress and ensuring quality all contribute to increased costs. Despite the higher upfront expenses, we firmly believe that this investment is advantageous for long-term durability and performance.
  • Do you have any pre-built products available for purchase?
    We typically craft our products to tailor-fit our customers' specific needs, which means we don't stock standard size products or sections. However, there are instances where surplus fencing and/or gates become available for purchase at a substantial discount.
